Our Advanced Media Relations training session includes an in-depth exploration of the dynamics of media relations in today’s media landscape. It also includes topics that we often have to learn “on the fly” when working on a communications team. This includes what to consider when creating speaking notes for interviews, understanding the different nuances of working with outlets on the national, international, and local level, managing media protocols, and dealing with challenging situations.

We offer online workshops and have Emdash team members in BC, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Nova Scotia. We have also gone as far as Iqaluit to deliver media training — we don’t mind travelling!
